Ellen Hyman Kuchli, Chairwoman of the Board <\/strong>
\nHolds an MA in Urban Planning from the Technion. Worked in the Prime Minister\u2019s Office in a project on urban neighborhood renewal, as well as at the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. She is currently working independently and active in several organizations working for peace, social justice and human rights. Volunteers at the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants.<\/p>\n

Dr. Miri Osin<\/strong>
\nHolds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the Hebrew University and a PhD in Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. Her education includes studies in the MA Business Administration track at the Hebrew University and advance studies at the School of Management at Bar Ilan University. Served in the past and present as a director and on the audit committee of management of funds. Covered a wide range of positions in the civilian sector and in the military, including for conferences and events on behalf of the EU-Israel forum, development appeals in South America by Keren Hayesod, External Relations Department management and senior defense critic. Speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Yiddish. Volunteers for the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants.<\/p>\n

Professor Naomi Chazan<\/strong>
\nHolds a BA and MA from Columbia University and a PhD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Prof. Chazan has held a series of public and academic positions, including head of the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University, president of the Israeli branch of the International Association of Political Science and founder of the Israel Women’s Network. She has written many books and articles on politics and political science on Africa, Arab-Israeli relations, Israeli politics and the status of women. She served as a member of Knesset for Meretz in the 13th-15th Knesset and was appointed Deputy Speaker of the Knesset. She was a member of the Education Committee, the Committee on the Status of Women, the Committee for Foreign Affairs and Security and more. Chazan is professor emeritus of Political Science and African Studies at Hebrew University and head of the School of Government and Society at the Academic College Tel Aviv. She also served as the president of the New Israel Fund.<\/p>\n

Dr. Yeudah Livneh<\/strong>
\nPh.D. from Brandeis University, USA. Has extensive experience and knowledge of the global pharmaceutical and biologics industries focusing primarily on patents and other intellectual property, both on the innovator and generic \/ biosimilar sides.
\nHas worked closely with industry (Teva and other companies), industry associations, NGOs, international organizations (WIPO, WHO, WTO) and governments to advance IP legislation. Co-founder of the International Generic and Biosimilars Medical Association (IGBA).<\/p>\n

Adv. Barry Levenfeld<\/strong>
\nBarry Levenfeld is a senior partner at Yigal Arnon & Co., one of Israel\u2019s leading law firms. Barry represents technology and life science companies. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and lectures in high tech corporate finance at the Hebrew University Faculty of Law and at a number of entrepreneurship courses offered by the Technion. He is a co-founder of the “Wheels of Love” annual five-day charity bike ride for Alyn Hospital, Israel\u2019s leading pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation facility, and serves on the board of the hospital. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Adam, Teva v\u2019Din, Israel\u2019s premier environmental advocacy group.<\/p>\n

Adv. Maayan Niezna

A PhD candidate at the University of Kent, UK.\u00a0Maayan holds MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics, and LL.B in Law and Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.\u00a0Prior to her doctoral studies she was a lawyer at the Hotline. Before that she\u00a0worked as a lawyer at Gisha-Legal Center for Freedom of Movement,\u00a0and worked on issues related to trafficking and slavery at the Office of the National Anti-trafficking Coordinator, Israeli Ministry of Justice, and UNHCR-Israel.<\/p>\n

Adv. Howard Langer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Howard Langer is the founding partner of Langer Grogan & Diver a law firm in Philadelphia specializing in antitrust, consumer and intellectual property law. The firm is known for its extensive work on behalf of the vulnerable and the unrepresented. Howard is also adjunct professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania where he has taught antitrust law and complex litigation since 2004. He is the author of the Competition Law in the United States. He holds a B.A.\u00a0 from the City College of New York, an M.A. in literature from the University of Toronto, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Howard has had a particular interest in the rights of guest workers. He successfully defended Kav LaOved in a defamation suit brought by an alleged major human trafficker, ultimately winning thousands of dollars in sanctions. Orian v. Head of Michal Pomeranz law firm which specializes in different aspects of human rights. Michal holds a B.A from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in law and mathematics, and a LLM in International Legal Studies from NYU. Michal interned and worked for the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.
